All of Bohem's products are handcrafted in Southern California by a team of happy people who are treated well. We sage our products & put lots of good vibes into everything we build. Karen, the founders' mom, often brings lunch for the crew.

OUR FOUNDER: NATALIE SPILGER

With a belief that spaces can transform the soul & a passion for efficiency, Natalie Spilger (BS Civil Engineering & MS Construction Management from Stanford University) fell in love with Hexayurts at the 2007 Burning Man festival. A former professional soccer player & world traveler, Spilger's history of nomadic living left her aching for a home that would move as seamlessly as she did. Over the course of years, Spilger's wild imagination, slight obsession & sleepless nights have taken the yurt & pop-up concepts to a place of high-design, boutique-studio wonderment.
